Bloomberg House of Davos 2025
As a designer for Bloomberg House Davos 2025, I play a key role in evolving the brand’s digital presence by building a robust design system that ensures consistency and scalability across all digital content. I establish clear animation standards to create a cohesive and dynamic identity, seamlessly integrating motion with the brand’s visual language. By standardizing design elements and interactions, I enhance user engagement while maintaining a refined, modern aesthetic that aligns with Bloomberg’s innovation-driven ethos. My work ensures a seamless and compelling experience across platforms, reinforcing the brand’s impact at Davos and beyond.

Timing and easing
Timing is the careful combination of easing and duration. It's the secret sauce for natural and lively movement, and gives motion its character.

Easing
The default easing for BHD is Quintic/In-Out easing. This easing type creates quick movements with strong acceleration and deceleration. The exaggerated curves mean that the most significant change in value happens over a small portion of the total duration, making movements with Quintic easing appear much faster than those with standard easing.

Atomic animation pattern
Atomic motion patterns are the core building blocks of our animation system. They can be applied individually or combined for animations of any complexity.
